Dear October

You are the sweetest month to me.
You, who conjure wind-whipped leaves,
Soaring through covered bridges.
October, you hold in your hands dear memories -
Caramel apples, harvest festivals, pumpkins aplenty.
You promise to be the last lovely month.
You frolic before death settles in.

October, be my love.

Absolutely beautiful imagery. It makes me miss an American fall.

Aw, thanks Tamayn. You're in France right? I'd trade anytime. ;)

Ugh, if you want to right now. We've been in the 80's for the last week. Not much of a fall yet.

Where in France? I'm down for a weekend trade. Fall break is coming in two weeks. ;)

Bretagne, Rennes specifically. You could make it just in time for la Toussaint!

Quelle dommage. If I had any money, I'd be there in an instant.
